HELLO PEOPLE!

I re-took A-maths today.
Its was said to help to boost up your CA marks

I had confidence that I’ll score well.
But even if I get 100/100, the report book will still report 50/100.
This is to be fair for the students who gets it 100/100 on their first attempt.

Well, I think its quite okay, since A-maths is a new subject to me.
I didn’t know that the working is so complex D:

So during Angklung..
We were given our new costume!

WOOTS! With my name attached to it too!!
Well, the ladies came over to measure us the other day.
Measure, measure, measure until there’s no tomorrow. =x

LOL. But the pants were too tight. D:
Don’t know what happened.
I am sure I maintained my weight okay!! T_T
So have to sent back first for alteration.

Today’s Bio practical was superbly fun and a little gross at the same time..
WARNING: Not for the faint-hearted.

So what we had to do is to put our salivary amylase into a beaker.
Hahas. Okay larh. I won’t be so chim.
Salivary amylase = spit =/
1 beaker per group.
1 group = 5 people.

Our “Salivary Amylase”

Transfer to test tube. I hear girls screaming in disgust =x

Put in some starch solution with the salivary amylase.

After we put a few drops of iodine, the iodine remains brown.

Therefore, the salivary amylase has completely digested the starch as starch is not detected by the iodine test.
[If starch is detected = Blue/Black | Not detected = Remains brown]

Okay. Last part of the lesson is cleaning.
I was…. grossed out larh =x
But Bhalaji was superbly brave and he washed it.
So, thank you very very very very much for save my day

I got so much homework.
Well, maybe not really homework, more on studies too.
Physics chapter 4 is supposed to be self-studied.

Well, I’d better get this over and done with

Our class had 1 more new student. From another school.
He said he came over because he missed Bio lessons for the last 1 term.
He sat in class today and was slacking

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?
everything that was gone through in class had already gone through in his school

I can say only 1 word — WOW.

Not going to post much content today.

Today, I was just experimenting with potatoes.
The cooking one, not bio practical.
First attempt is to try to boil it.
Another attempt is to try to fry it.

Erhh. Maybe it doesn’t look like “appetizing”. D:
But nvm.

Today had to come back for scavenger race early in the morning.
I actually don’t know what happen, but later I realized that the people from 3/4 did their own mutual swaps.
Which leads t0 people from my side to confusion.
After which, it was decided. But I didn’t understand what to do next.
I was shocked that my teacher shouted to us to, “go away”

I don’t know. Seriously. Why this “go away” is used all the time by everyone on me.
It just made me feel unwanted.
Wow. I think I am thinking too much into it.*
I have NEVER EVER heard of this word before last year.
So probably I haven’t get used to it completely.

So it was quite okay. A lot of them really tried to solve the problem.
With our stations being the most difficult out of the 8 stations.
We hosted our stations in the sky garden (open space on the 4th floor)
I can’t believe it that it rained D:
And one of the pile of papers flew and hit the wet ground.
Hui Ting was super agitated and kept on telling the paper, “NO, NO, NO”
Found it really hilarious.
Lunch are provided by the school too
YAY!

We’re dismissed early, so had even more time to kill before Angklung starts.
Can’t play the piano due to the O’level examinations in the hall. D:
I managed to kill my boredom by hanging out in the canteen with Shaun.

Back for Angklung today.
I must say, I learn new things today.
Well.. Actually, just modifications of what we’ve learnt
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s practice too

So, back at home, mom and I tried to make Japanese Omurice.
Omurice = Omelet Rice
